Welcome to the beta — here's how you can help

You're testing 'Bask' before launch. Here's how to help most — and how to report bugs and ideas through the Feedback tab.

Welcome to the beta — here's how you can help
In this post

Thank you for helping test Bask. You're using the site before anyone else — which means the fastest way to make it better is simply to use it like you would for real: browse reptiles, message a seller, ask a breeder a question, try listing an animal. Then tell me whenever something feels off.

This guide covers the handful of things that help me most — and the single most important one: reporting issues through the Feedback tab.

Just use it — that's the biggest help

The more real your usage, the more real the problems we'll catch before launch. Poke around:

  • Browse and search listings, filter by trait, open a few animals.
  • Message a seller about an animal you like.
  • Ask a public question on a listing.
  • Create a store and list an animal if you're a breeder — the seller tools are a big part of what we're testing.

If any of that is slow, confusing, or just doesn't work the way you'd expect — that's exactly what I want to hear about.

Message a seller

On any listing, click Message Seller to start a private conversation. Everything continues in Chat. Please keep all communication on RegiusMarket during the beta — it's how I spot problems in the messaging flow, and it keeps you protected.

Ask a question on an animal

Scroll to Questions for the breeder on a listing to ask something in the open. Once the seller answers, your question and their reply appear on the listing for everyone — handy for the questions other buyers are bound to have too. The seller is notified straight away. For anything private, use Message Seller instead.

⭐ Report issues through the Feedback tab

This is the most valuable thing you can do for me. Look for the Feedback tab pinned to the right-hand edge of every page.

  1. Click Feedback to open the Share feedback panel.
  2. Choose Report a bug if something's broken or looks wrong, or Suggest an improvement if you've got an idea.
  3. Give it a short Title, then fill in the Details. For bugs, tell us what you did, what you expected, and what actually happened — steps I can follow are gold.
  4. The page you're on is captured automatically, so please raise each report from the page where you hit the problem.
  5. Hit Post feedback.

Your report goes onto our public Feedback board, where other testers can upvote it and the team can reply and set a status (for example, "fixed in this week's release"). Before you post, it's worth a quick glance at the board — if someone's already raised your issue, an upvote helps us more than a duplicate.

You'll need to be signed in to post or vote.

Feedback tab vs the Report button — which is which?

Two different tools, easy to mix up:

  • Feedback tab → problems with the site itself (a broken button, a confusing page, a layout glitch) or ideas to improve it.
  • Report button (on listings, equipment and stores) → a specific listing, store or message that breaks the rules or worries you — a misleading listing, a welfare concern, spam. Our team reviews every report. If any person or animal is in immediate danger, contact the authorities first.

Rule of thumb: something wrong with BaskMarket → Feedback tab. Something wrong with a listing or seller → Report.

Thank you

Every bug you flag and every idea you post genuinely shapes what launches. I read all of it. Thank you for being part of the beta.
