About the Scoria gene
A single copy of the Scoria boa constrictor (Boa constrictor) gene is enough for it to show. There is no het Scoria, so you buy one on sight.
Genetics
Because one copy is enough for an animal to show it and there is no het form, Scoria is usually grouped with Inca, IMG and Arabesque as a dominant boa gene. Nobody has settled whether two copies look any different from one, but animals are also offered as Super Scoria. For this gene, that question is the whole difference between dominant and incomplete dominant (the hobby's co-dom), so ask the seller how any Super Scoria was proven. The line was first called Pink Patternless and the first Scoria was produced in 2003.
