Appearance
The colour ranges from a soft, pale lemon wash to a bold yellow-orange, with some animals leaning more toward orange than others. Yellow and Citrus are sold as one kind of animal, and sellers do not always keep the two names apart. A search for either name will find the same kind of animal.
Genetics
Citrus is a colour line that is polygenic. Because breeders create the colour by selecting parents across many generations rather than tracking one gene, no locus has been published for it. There is no super form or het to ask for. In the same animal, it is regularly combined with single-gene traits like Dunner, leatherback, translucent and hypo.
