Black Crown Reptiles (BCR) is a UK-based reptile breeding project located near Hyde, Manchester. I have been keeping and breeding reptiles since the age of 14, building hands-on experience over many years with a strong focus on animal health, genetics, and long-term quality rather than mass production. While Black Crown Reptiles is not a large-scale operation, every animal is raised with care, attention to detail, and a clear breeding goal in mind. My current focus is on producing high-end Royal Python (Ball Python) projects, with an emphasis on Super gravel and Highway and hypo Clown combo genetics, selecting breeders carefully to ensure strong feeding responses, clean sheds, and solid temperaments. What sets BCR apart is a quality-over-quantity approach, transparency with buyers, and a genuine passion for advancing projects correctly rather than rushing animals to market. Each animal is properly established before sale and accurately represented. Looking ahead, I plan to expand into Storr’s Monitor and Kimberley Rock Monitor projects as part of a long-term commitment to working with exceptional reptiles responsibly.
